I'm loving the warm, smoky ham and cheese wheel cake - it's absolutely delicious! The custard wheel cake is perfectly balanced, not too sweet at all. And the sunset drink with tapioca boba is incredibly refreshing! Service is great. Definitely coming back.

I ordered the matcha green bean wheel cake, and it was definitely worth the wait (about 8 minutes since they’re made fresh to order). The cake itself was super fluffy and piping hot. The matcha green bean filling oozed out with the first bite: flavorful, comforting, and not overly sweet. I’d definitely come back to try the other flavors!

The food was good. I ordered the custard wheel cake and a mango green tea. They ended up giving me a Taro wheel cake but when I told them about the error they were kind enough to give me a custard wheel for free. The custard one was good. It was soft and sweet. The taro one was okay. It wasn’t that sweet which I enjoyed and the inside filling had bits of taro pieces. On the other hand, the mango green tea wasn’t that good. It was bitter despite me choosing the 50% sugar option which usually works out and it had a weird after taste. The overall place was nice. The interior is pretty and clean. It also isn’t very busy so it’s decently quiet. I can’t say much about the service other than them being kind enough giving me my original order for free and that they bring the food to you since I used the Kiosk that day. Overall, nice place.

As you can see from my profile, I'm a frequent reviewer, although my recent activity has been low due to sticking to familiar haunts. Today, however, while running errands in Chinatown, a particular place caught my attention from the corner I was standing on. Deciding to venture in without any strong expectations, I checked the menu. The cheese and ham wheel cake stood out – a combination I hadn't encountered before, so I decided to give it a try. The first things I noted were the cleanliness and the nice decorations. My order was taken by very polite staff members who made me feel welcome. When my order was ready, it was presented to me with a lovely smile, which was a great start. But the crucial question remained: how would the food measure up? I was pleased to find that my order was freshly prepared and had a wonderful aroma. And the taste? Absolutely amazing! The ham was delicious, and the amount of cheese was just right. This is definitely a place I'll be visiting again.

Once More Zaipin Tea House is an absolute gem! Their selection of teas is exceptional, offering something for every palate. I particularly enjoyed the wheel cake, which is nothing short of impressive. It’s filled with whole almond nuts that add a delightful crunch and richness. The ambiance is cozy, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cup of tea. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area! We even buy a box to take home!
